Independent Judiciary  Since its inception in 1985, Alliance for Justice's Judicial Selection Project (JSP) has taken the lead in raising the visibility of the importance of the federal courts. JSP monitors judicial nominations at all levels of the federal bench. It encourages public participation in the selection and confirmation process and raises public awareness about the significant impact the federal judiciary has on the country. JSP promotes support for the nomination and confirmation of fair and qualified judges who have demonstrated a commitment to equal justice.

Progressive Secretary sends out progressive email letters to Congress, the President, and other officials on peace, ecology, civil rights and other issues. The letters are suggested by participants in the cooperative and are sent to you as a proposal.If you tell us to "send", then the letters are sent to your Congress people and others noted in the proposal over your signature and return address. A report is sent to you. If you like, you can send the letters yourself.

We fight for openness and democratic accountability in government, for the right of consumers to seek redress in the courts; for clean, safe and sustainable energy sources; for social and economic justice in trade policies; for strong health, safety and environmental protections; and for safe, effective and affordable prescription drugs and health care.
